Detailed description of Fenner Hill Golf Club | Fenner Hill Golf Course
Fenner Hill Golf Course is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Hope Valley, Rhode Island, 15 minutes north of Mystic, Conn. or 15 minutes south of West Warwick, Rhode Island.
The course first opened for play in 1999.
This links-style course has narrow fairways bordered by thick rough. Plenty of thick native areas around the layout place an emphasis on shotmaking and the heavily undulated greens present an additional challenge. While playing, one is surrounded by panoramic views, generous fairways, 17th century stone walls, and the unspoiled woodlands of Southwestern Rhode Island.
The signature hole is #15, a 325-yard, par 4, which plays downhill and over water to a well-contoured green.

White tees: par-72, 6,262 yards
Gold tees: par-72, 5,893 yards
Red tees: par-72, 5,112 yards

There are several golf courses in this area, and all are worth playing. Fenner Hill is a good course with some difficult holes. The greens on 9 and 18 are very difficult. The staff has been great, the food tasty. I play here 6 or more times a year.
